The Turbellariés are Plathelminthes which have the free and nonparasitic shapes of a host. They are sailors for the majority. The most known organization is the Planaire, which is dulçaquicole. They have a body covered by an epithelium with glandular cells, lubricating cells with mucuses i.e. which allow the displacement or the adhesion of the worm.

Their digestive tract is a simple bag whose cells of the wall practice a phagocytosis and thus allow a double digestion.

Their muscular apparatus includes/understands two musculatures, circular and longitudinal, allowing the locomotion.

The nervous system is diffuse and comprises two longitudinal nerves controlling the locomotion.

The function excrétrice consists of protonéphridies.

The reproduction can be:

  • sexuée and hermaphrodite (not of autofecondation but cross fecundation);
  • asexual by regeneration.
