The tunnel of Large the Pond is a road tunnel of RN 28 with long Rouen in 2 tubes of 2 ways each one 1,532 km. The tube going up presents a slope of 3.75% then 2.78%, and the tube descending a slope from 3.5%.Le traffic rise with: 42000 vehicles/day, including approximately 15% of heavy trucks. It crosses a district of Rouen which bears the same name.

A radar is installed at the northern entry of the tunnel; another radar in the southern tube should be there soon installed.

Speed in this tunnel is of 70 km/h.
