The literature Arabic-speaking person goes back to the 7th century with the arrival of Arab civilization in the area. This one is more important in volume as in value than the literature in French language which follows the establishment of the French protectorate in 1881. In spite of the long story of the Tunisian literature, the literary production is thin: approximately 120 pounds in Arabic, all confused kinds, see the day in 2000.
