Tumulus de Pépin of Landen
The tumulus of Pip of Landen is the funerary Tertre of Pépin of Landen. It is located Sinte-Gittersplein at Landen in the the Flemish Brabant in Belgium.
Pip of Landen (580 - 650) was Maire of the palate of Austrasie. Originating in Landen, its property extended to this place.
He lived in old a villa Gallo-Roman and was buried in his field of Landen, but after a few years, its widow made transfer her skin to Nivelles.

The site of Sinte-Gitterdal was classified like " landscape protégé" by Stopped royal of the April 19th 1978. The ruins of the vault and the Tumulus were both classified " monuments" by royal Decree of the November 17th 1981.
