Tully (3500 inhabitants) is a small town of the Queensland, in Australia on the Bruce Highway, to approximately 140 km in the South of Cairns and to 210 km in the North of Townsville.

Tully owes its name, since 1927, with the river which crosses it: the Tully To rivet (invited before Mackay To rivet ) name of Surveyor-General the William Alcock Tully.

With more than 4 m of precipitations per annum and a record of 7.9 m in 1959, Tully disputes with Babinda the title of city the most sprinkled with Australia.

The economy of the area is based on agriculture with in particular the culture of the Banane S and the Canne to sugar. Tully has small a Sucrerie.
