Tulette

Tulette is a common French, located in the department of the Drome and the area the Rhone-Alps.

Geography

Located at the southern limit of the department of Drome, the commune of Tulette covers a territory bordered in the South by the river of Aygues and leans in the East on the very first hills of Préalpes, almost completely deforested today. The ground, primarily resulting from old alluvial terraces, is the substrate of an important wine production profiting from the name of controlled origin (AOC) C4otes-du-Rh4one wine. Since the freezing of the olive-trees in 1956, this economic activity is the first of the village. In bond with this primary production, the company of the Storeroom of the Dolphins, fruit of the regrouping of more than one ten cooperative wine caves of the surroundings, ensures at the same time the outlet of the wines produces locally and of employment for the local population.
