Tube Bumblebee

The tube of Bumblebee is used to measure Pression S apart from the range of the pressure gauge filled with mercury.

Constitution

The tube of bumblebee is simple and flexible. The tube of bumblebee is also the base of many types of pressure gauge. In its simpler form it is composed of an oval tube of section forming a circular arc.

An end is sealed and free its displacements, the other end fixed and is opened with the pressure to measure. The tube uses an indicator to indicate the pressure applied.

Operation

The oval section of the tube becomes rounder according to the internal pressure, which makes decrease its curve, this movement is amplified mechanically by the Aiguille of measurement.
