Tsukuba
Tsukuba is a Japanese city of the Préfecture of Ibaraki.
Located at approximately 50 km in the North-East of Tokyo and at 30 km in the north of the international airport of Narita, this university town recent and is dedicated to research in the field of new technologies, particularly those which relate to the Informatique, the communications and the Robotique.
The new city of Tsukuba, called " City" science; , was created on November 30th 1987. The site accommodated in 1985 the World Fair Expo '85.
More than sixty research institutes and universities are distributed on the site which arises as vast a Campus bordered to north east by the solid mass of the Tsukuba mount. The scrape-sky are unknown there, only the three or four high buildings not having more than 20 floors.

Transport
Since August 2005, a private railway line allows Tsukuba Express a connection in 45 minutes between Tsukuba and the station JR Akihabara of Tokyo.Since the International airport of Narita, a connection is ensured in 2 hours per bus.
