Tsivilsk

Tsivilsk (in Russian: Циви́льск ; in Chuvash: Çěрпӳ) is a city of the République of Tchouvachie, in Russia, and the administrative center of the Raïon of Tsivilski. It is located at the Confluence rivers Petite Tsivil and Grande Tsivil, to 37 km in the south-east of Tcheboksary, the capital of the republic. Tsivil is a road crossroads on the axis Nijni-Novgorod - Kazan and towards Oulianovsk. Its population rose with: 12967 inhabitants with the Census of 2002, against: 10053 with that of 1989.
