Tsavorite

The tsavorite is a Nésosilicate of the family of the Grenat S aluminous sodic. Its name comes from the Tsavo park to the Kenya.

The tsavorite is used in jewelry for its green color imitating perfectly the emerald for lower costs. One finds it in the metamorphic rocks of contact, in the Pegmatite S, the magmatic rocks and the Alluvion S.
