Tryo is a group French of French Musique

Although its name can carry to confusion, Tryo is composed of 4 members: Guizmo, Christophe Mali, Manu Eveno, Daniel " Danielito" Cheer

While their beginnings were turned towards an acoustic music inspired of the Reggae, the group since extended its musical pallet bringing to its repertory sounds coming from the four corners of the world. Tryo knew to be detached from the traditional French scene by its committed approach of the music and the vocal mixture from the three singers from the group.

Biography

In 1995, Manu Eveno and Guizmo (Called Loulboo) belong to the group Me Panada. They meet Christophe Mali at the time of a musical comedy given to MJC of Fresnes. At the time of a voyage between friends in the Pyrenees, the three start to play of the music around a fire. Beginning again with spirit of traditional with the sauce Reggae, the small group goes up on scene after only one repetition. The functioning spectacle rather well, they decide to continue to play together. It is on the Atlantique coast that the group knocks about the world, and multiplies the appearances on all that can be connected closely or by far with a scene, thus gaining its gallons of group live. At the time of the very first concerts, the group of three musicians is described by the organizers like the trio Mort in the cows , the group will adopt finally the name “Tryo” and will keep it even when other members integrate the team.

Beginning 1996, the group connects the festivals and starts a French round. In 1998, Daniel Bravo (called “Danielito”), comes to supplement the formation with the percussions, and makes its beginnings on the 1st album Mamagubida (name formed of the first syllable of the members: My naked, My Li, Gu izmo, Bi bou (with the technique) and Da niel).

The same year, some local radios and more generally the associative medium seize the album, which meets a real success quickly. The first song of the album: the Anthem of our campaigns (which quickly becomes the anthem of the group) will meet an immense success later eight years, since it is in 2006 that one starts to hear it on radios like NRJ. Another song considered as worship by the fans, the green Hand , where the group says that it is preferable to cultivate the Cannabis rather than to buy it with dealers.

Two years later, in 2000, Tryo remakes surface in the vats with Faut that they activate , them 2nd opus. This album is much more poetic than the first with songs like 5 directions , the sea or the New Shepherds . It is at that time that Tryo crosses the road of the troop of circus of street Sprinkled the, with which they are hooked atoms. The two formations decide to be linked, to propose a musical production and visual: Tryo and Sprinkled: Reggae with blows of circus . The spectacle is recorded on a DVD of the same name in Paris in 2002.

In 2003, the group leaves one 3rd album, Grain of sand , on which one finds, inter alia, great successes: Leave to them , Pompafric , Serre me , Récréaction and Désolé for yesterday evening . This album dissociates precedents by a text even politically more committed.

It is in 2004 that another live leaves: Of words of mount… . It consists of CD recorded with the Olympia and of another, in a smaller room, " The Sauvage" Cabaret; where they collaborate in particular with the section coppers group Mister Gang and also with the Ogres of Barback for a new song entitled the first time . One finds there also a resumption of the famous song of Claude Nougaro, Armstrong .

In 2005, Tryo leaves a new live DVD which is entitled With the Uncontrollable cabinet like second CD left the previous year. One finds the same songs there as on the album but with moreover, Babylon (resulting from the first album) and two duets with the Ogres of Barback: Mam' zeal Bubble (a collaboration of the two groups) and Accordion for the Idiots , a resumption of this same group.

The same year, Tryo celebrates its 10 years and thus prepared a single spectacle for the occasion. At the great request of the Québécois fans, they came, during the time of the festivals, to only make a turn in Montreal for three evenings. In France, the round also meets a big hit, it should be said that their concerts are spectacular (Valerie, which belonged to Arrosés, joined them for the visual key of the spectacle for which it is necessary to add the giant screen where Karl Zero makes many appearances and where Mathieu Chedid carries out a virtual duet with Manu) and last approximately three hours. In this round, majority of the " classiques" group are played (in particular by the means of the medley at the beginning in the concert) and the song I have ten years Alain Souchon. Christophe Mali announced that it launches out in a career solo. First album I take you along left in March 2006, his style is rather different from the achievements of the group. Guizmo is him invested in the group Pause.

The group would be at present writing a new album, as they announce it about their blog.
