Trunk roads of China
The trunk roads of China are the highway network of national scale. They furrow the country, since the chief towns of province, the important cities, the ports commercial, the metropolises economic and also in direction from abroad with an aim of international communication and also for strategic reasons.
Classification
The roads are divided into four categories:- roads in " 1" , since the capital
- roads in " 2" , North-South direction
- roads in " 3" , East-West direction
- roads in " 0" , important axes:
- 5 North-South roads (finishing with " 0")
- 7 East-West roads (finishing with " 5")
Name
In Chinese, the roads are called, by their number: that is to say 319, or G 319 (319 guodao 国道), or " ligne" (319 xian 线).
