Truncated Rhodocybe
The Rhodocybe truncated (or Rhodocybe geminated in Latin) is one of mushroom ( Fungi ) Basidiomycète of the family of the Entolomotaceae .
Characteristics
The Rhodocybe S are rare Champignon S which were not easy to classify because of their pink Sporée and which push in the grounds limestones.
Description
The rhodocybe truncated is a Champignon having a thick hat (8-12 cm), of color leather pink ocracé, with a cuticule Pruineuse which is not easy to peel. It has blades pale pink becoming brown rosy, well in flesh and a little round on the foot. Its foot (3,5-5x1,5-2 cm) white is massive and slightly pruineux. Its white flesh which can be dew in certain places exhales a good odor of flour which becomes rancid into growing old and is slightly spiced. It pushes in high graminaceous edges and coppices but also in the wood of leafy trees and conifers of the summer to the autumn.
Use
It is an edible mushroom of good quality but there is a very great risk to confuse it with the livid Entolome which is to him a very toxic mushroom.
