True Church of Jesus

The True Church of Jesus (in Chinese: 真耶穌教會) is an independent Church which was established with Beijing in China in 1917. It is placed as a Chinese ramification of the Protestant branch of the Christianisme which emerged in the years 1900.

The current president of this Église is Yung-Ji Lin which asserts preacher. He was elected by the international assembly of the true Church of Jesus. The Church asserts 1,5 million members throughout the world. The Church believes in theology pentecotist, doctrines based on the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Five principal doctrines

The 5 essential doctrines of the true Church of Jesus are:

Holy Spirit

" To receive the Holy Ghost, shown in speaking in languages, is the guarantee of our transmission of the kingdom of the ciel". (Roman 8:16, Éphésiens 1:13 - 14).

Baptism

" The Baptême of water is for the remission of the Péché S for regeneration. The baptism must take place in normal alive water, such as the Fleuve, the Mer or the Ruisseau.

The Holy Communion

" The day of Sabbath, the seventh day of the week (Saturday), is one day holy, blessed and sanctified by God. It must be observed under the grace of the lord for the commemoration of the creation and the hello of God and with the hope of the eternal rest in the life with venir".

Ten articlees of faith

Later in the Years 1980, one added to these five principal doctrines to become the ten basic beliefs of the True Church of Jesus:

Jesus-Christ

" Jesus-Christ, the word which became flesh, died on the cross for the repurchase of the fishermen, ressucity the third day and assembled with the sky. He is the only saver of humanity, the creator of the skies and the ground, and only God vrai".

(Jean 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3 - 4; Acts 4:12).

The Bible

" The Bible, including/understanding the old and New Testament S, is inspired by God, the only scriptural truth and the standard for the Christian vivant".

(2 Timothée 3:16).

Safety

" The Salut is given by God of the grace by the faith. The believers must be based on the Holy Ghost to continue holiness, to honor God, and to like Humanity ".

(Éphésiens 2:8).

The Church

" The True Church of Jesus, established by our lord Jesus-Christ, by the Holy Ghost for the period of the “last rain”, is the reconstituted true Église time apostolique".

(Joel 2:23; Amos 9:11).

The advent of the Lord

" the advent of the Lord will take place the last day when it goes down from the sky for to judge the world: the virtuous ones will receive the eternal life, whereas the bad ones are eternally condamnés".

(Matthieu 25:31 - 34 chechmate; 1 Thessaloniciens 4:16 - 17).

Other Beliefs

the Church does not celebrate Christmas Since the December 25th was associated at the origin with a pagan ritual celebrating the birthday of the Sun which was adopted in the Christian Church during the reign of the Roman Emperor Constantin at the 4th century. The True Church of Jesus claims that the exact day of the birth of Christ is unknown and that Jesus forever known as with its disciple S to commemorate his birthday.

One does not observe Good Friday, because it also has pagan origins.

History and Origins

the partially successful attempts at évangéliser the China by the Christians Persian Nestoriens of (635-845), of the catholics and the Roman Jésuites (1265, 1601-1724) were of short duration, because they strongly irritated the Chinese emperor and have to continue clandestinely.

the first Protestant missionaries started to be active on the Chinese ground in 1807 with the arrival of Robert Morrison (Scottish). After the War of opium in the years 1840, from the missionaries then came from everywhere in the world.

Hudson Taylor founded the Mission inside China in 1865. The 19th century saw a great increase in the number of Christian. In 1900 there was almost 113 000 Protestant Christians, 1 600 Chinese Christian workmen and 2 000 missionaries.

The Movement of Pentecôtisme in China and origins of the True Church of Jesus

After the movement of Pentecôtisme to the the United States in the years 1900, the apostolic Mission of the Faith was established with Shanghai and many Chinese Christians adhered later to this religious movement.

Following the consecutive attacks and religious persecutions with the Revolt of the Boxers in 1900, many Chinese Christians recommended a " Movement of the three autonomies" , which supported the strategy the autonomous one, car-support, and car-propagator in order to reduce foreign influences or the interference on the Chinese churches. Several churches were sinicized.

the first three founders of the True Church of Jesus also supported this idea and decided to move away far from their traditional churches pentecostal. They were called Paul Wei, Ling-Sheng Zhang, and Barnabas Zhang.

The first workmen firmly believed that the will of the Lord was that they install a true church which would correct all the errors and false interpretations last in the doctrines of the other denominations and would reach thereafter the perfection before the second advent of the Lord. The Gospel was preached in Taiwan in March, 1926.

Although the majority of the members lived China, the contact with the continent was lost little of time after the communist change of 1949 and the persecution of the Christians in the whole of China.

In 1958, the True Church of Jesus and all other Christian churches (except the patriotic Church of three autonomies) which had suffered from the prohibitions imposed by the government - the majority of the members took part, with other denominations of church, in the " unification chrétienne" multiconfessionnelle to continue the worship under the monitoring of government.
