Truck farms of the Churn

The vegetable gardens and market-gardening of the Baratte are located on the alluvial Plaine edges of the the Loire, in urban and wet zone perished, on the communes of Nevers and Saint-Éloi (Nievre).

Lines of gardeners have followed one another, until our days, comptemplant and working the landscape ligérien for 500 years. The Brotherhood of Saint-Hackney carriage goes back to 1708. At the time, the owners of the gardeners were called.
