Truce of Hellinghem

the truce of Hellinghem signed in June 1393. Charles VI of France is again victim of its crises of insanity caused by the tragedy of the Bal of burning the of the January 28th 1393. His/her uncles represent it during the negotiations with the English with Hellinghem at the Picardy border. Richard II of England controlled henceforth only and it wished to found peace between the two kingdoms.

During this negotiation Cherbourg was returned to the France and truce a four years was signed between the two parties.
