Trottevieille castle

The castle Trottevieille , is a wine field of 10 ha located at Saint-Émilion in the Gironde. In AOC St. Emilion, it is classified First great wine classified B in the last Classements of the wines of St. Emilion of 2006.

History of the field

Acquisition of Marcel Borie after the Second world war, it always forms part of the Borie family.

The soil

The ground is calcareous on the plate of St. Emilion in the east of the city, making its specificity in name.

Wine

Encépagement is made up to 50% of Merlot, 45% frank Cabernet and 5% of Cabernet-sauvignon.
