The tropical forest is the forest characteristic of the tropical and equatorial areas.

Or little not having been affected by the last glaciations, in fact the forests richest of the world in term of Biodiversité, but are sometimes threatened by conversion into agricultural zones or forestry, and locally by the Surexploitation, the ecological Fragmentation and/or the fire.

Description

The tropical forest can be dry or wet, with conifers or caducifoliée, according to the type of Climat and of the type of ground. Protection

It can be assured by national parks, locally by natural reserves, within the framework of the convention of Rio on the biodiversity, since the countries could not get along in 1992, nor since on an international convention on the protection of the forests.
