The tropical climate is a type of Climat present between the Tropique S, up to 15 to 25 degrees of Latitude northern and southern. The areas closest to the equator raise of the equatorial Climat.
In the system of classification of the climates defined by Köppen, a tropical climate is a nonarid climate where the monthly average temperature does not go down in lower part from 18°C (64,4°F) throughout the year. In fact thus the temperatures define the seasons, but the rainfall. There exists a dry Saison (high temperatures, precipitations almost nules) and a wet Saison (very strong precipitations). The pluviometric maximum is related to the presence of the Zone of intertropical convergence). The tropical mode comprises only one maximum, which is placed at the summer solstice, thus the rains of summer or of autumn refresh the atmosphere and lower average thermics (it is the wintering). The wet season is more or less long that the season dries according to the distance compared to the equator. One can then distinguish
The tropical plants are the plants whose habitat of origin is in the Tropics. One employs the tropical term to indicate a place where the weather is hot and wet all during the year and which, moreover, has a luxuriant vegetation. However, there exist places which, although located in the Tropics, are very safe tropical in a strict sense term. (See for example the Kilimandjaro, or the Mauna Kea)
