Trophy of the Champions
The Trophée of the Champions is a trophy of Football concerned by the European Public Service Union of the sports correspondents French at the beginning of the season. The official name and complete of this match of opening of the season is “Trophy of the Champions Gabriel Hanot USJSF”. This match opposes the Champion of France and the winner of the Coupe de France in title.
The Challenge of the Champions (become Trophy of the Champions today) corresponds to the “Supercoupe S” existing in the majority of the other countries.
The trophy is officially set up by FFF in 1995.
In the event of tie at the end of the prescribed time, no prolongation is played and the shootings with the goals are immediate. This principle was implemented with an aim of not tiring the players at a few days of the resumption of the championship.
The Olympique Lyonese is holding it of the title since 2002 (winner of this competition 6 times of sharp).

Challenge of the Champions
The Challenge of the Champions (equivalent of the Trophy of the Champions) was held in a regular way of 1955 with 1973. Two tests of recovery were carried out in the Années 1980, without success.
