Trophy Maurice Richard
The Trophy Maurice Richard ( Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy ) is a gift of the club of the Canadian of Montreal to the National league of hockey in 1999, in order to reward the player having marked the most goals in regular season.
This trophy is given in the honor of the player star Maurice Richard (1921-2000) who was better striker of the league with five recoveries and which, in 1944-45, became the first player of Hockey to mark 50 goals in 50 matches (the same season). Only four other players made a success of this exploit.
Pavel Bore-hole and Jarome Iginla gained this trophy twice.
