The trophy Harry “Hap” Holmes , baptized in the honor of Harry Holmes, old professional goalkeeper, is a trophy of Hockey of North America. It is given annually in the American Ligue of hockey. The trophy was given for the first time in 1948.
Until 1971, it was allotted to the goalkeeper with the smallest average of allocated goals (and having played at least 50% of the parts of its team in regular season) whereas since 1972, it is allotted (X) to the guard (S) of the team having boxed less goals (and having played at least 25 parts).
