Trophic Type

The trophic term standard specifies the way in which an organization constitutes its own organic matter ( trophic drift of the Greek verb θροφη , “action to nourish”).

To synthesize organic matter, an living being needs:

  • of a source of carbon,
  • of a deaf person of energy,
  • of a source of reduction.
