Tropaeolaceae

The family of the Tropaéolacées is a family of plants Dicotylédone S. According to Watson & Dallwitz it includes/understands 92 Espèce S divided into 3 kind S:

Magallana , Tropaeastrum , Tropaeolum .
They are annual or perennial herbaceous plants. In France, the most known plant, pertaining to this family, is the Grande nasturtium.

The phylogenetic classification place maintaining this family in the order of the Brassicales even placed to him in the group of the Malvidées (English: eurosids II). The avr 2007 accepts nothing any more but only one kind ( Tropaeolum ).
