Tron 2.0 is a Video game of subjective shooting, developed by Monolith Productions, left on PC in 2003.

History of the development

Ports

  • a Mac version of the play is also available since 2004.
  • There exists a version X-Box of the play, subtitled for the occasion Tron 2.0: Killer App which was also adapted on Gameboy Advance.

Synopsis

Tron 2.0 is held 20 years after film of Disney Tron . Alan Bradley finally manages to re-use the Tron technology which makes it possible to transfer human inside even from a Computing system. But the Future company Control Industries, which hopes soon to repurchase the company where Bradley works, account to use Tron to send hackers to infest the networks of planet. A little later Alan Bradley disappears mysteriously. His/her son, Jet, decide to infiltrate in the computer of MaTria, the Artificial intelligence where Alan Bradley stored his work, in order to discover what it is occurred of his father.

Gameplay

Following the example film, the interior of the computer is a truth Virtual world. Jet walks in the data-processing circuits where the programs are individuals with whole share. On its road obviously computer virus but also the antiviruses draw up which take it for an intruder.

In this particular universe, the play takes primarily the form of a play of subjective shooting even if, by the search for authorization or the interaction with the other programs, there is also a share of adventure. To note the presence of an aspect Roleplay with the concept of Inventory and the possibility of improving the aptitudes of the hero (here via updated and of subroutines since the whole of the universe of Tron is governed by the laws of data processing).

To note

  • Evolving/moving in a computing world, the player must have some bases in language “Geek” to appreciate the play.
  • graphics voluntarily have an aspect minimalist, which can not like everyone.
