The Troade is an old area of the North-West of the minor Asia delimited in north by the Marmara Sea, in the south by the gulf of Edremit (which gives on the Greek island Lesbos), and in the east by the mount Ida which culminates with more than 1700 Mr.

One finds there the ruins of the town of Troy.
