Trisomie 21 is a group of music New wave French of Denain close to Valencian. It is classified industrial Musique and Cold wave in France. Created in 1980 by the brothers Lomprez, Herve and Philippe, TRISOMY 21 published its first (and today worship) album " Rest Of the Heureux" Children; in 1983 (Play It Again Sam/PIAS). The group was quickly associated with the movement cold wave of the time with artists such as The Cure, Joy Division, The Durutti Column, etc

The following year, T21 took its first steps on scene through Europe and published its second LP " Divisées" passions;. It is after their individual " Wait and Dance" that T21 saw its career taking its take-off with the exit of the album " Chapter IV" who immediately propelled TRISOMY 21 in the charts with 2 méga-hits " The Last Song" and " The Triste" Festival; , both become of the great classics the electroone of the Eighties, still frequently played in club and radio today. The group will launch out then in its first international round which them enmene in France, in Belgium, in the Netherlands, in Switzerland and in Canada.

And TRISOMY 21 will not remain about it there, continuing to pack their discography with step badly of 12" and new albums such as " Lights" million; in 1987, the album live " The Official Bootleg" in 1988, " Works" in 1989, " Works Tour" , " Plays The Pictures" , Distant Voices" or " Gohohako". Without mentioning the many republications in format CD and other compilations the individual ones.

As much of groups of the stable PIAS of beginning of the year 80, TRISOMY 21 fact part of the legendary pioneers of the movement electro cold at the sides of artists such as Face 242, The Neon Judgment, Tuxedomoon, The Young Gods, etc

At the wire of their impressive discography, the French duet arrived has to create its own musical style often described like the electro-wave dark one and characterized by the single voice of the singer and their major and poignant melodies. After 7 long years of impenetrable silence, in addition to some sporadic appearances on one or other compilation, TRISOMY 21 in has surprised more one by signing a remix in 2003 for the pop-stars Frenchwomen Indo-China, and by publishing sublime a new album studio " Happy Mystery Child" one year later which was going to once more propel them at the top of the electro scene. A return as unexpected as impressing and which revealed a group of a great maturity, a fastidious melody research and even more refined, involving refrains, while managing to preserve the intact magic of the group, with the great pleasure of their faithful fans.

The open-minded of the Lomprez brothers and the modern and innovative tonality of this new album will allow this " Happy Mystery Child" to be published in various remixées versions, giving access to T21 to new fans resulting from the electro-clash or the electro one/techno through remixes by inter alia David Caretta, The Hacker, Paul Kendall, Millimetric, The Horrorist, Lady B, etc

After many concerts throughout the world (Brazil, Spain, Germany, Belgium, France, etc), TRISOMY 21 finish for the moment the recording of their next album studio for their new label Alfa Matrix which while waiting will leave at the end of 2007 best-of live " appointment in France " as well as a special edition birthday including/understanding of the news " vintage " and others surprised declined under various formats…
