Triqueville is a common French, located in the department of the the Eure and the area High-Normandy.
Lost at the bottom of the department of the Eure, Tricqueville is in only accessible winter in the helicopter because of the danger watching for the roads. Indeed of large cliffs skirt the single access road and the temperature winter is likely to break the stone which could fall on a full cart children.
Tricqueville or Triqueville? Officially, the name of this village is written " Triqueville" without " c". But the inhabitants persist in the fact that " Tricqueville" , is written with a " c". At Pont-Audemer, city has proximity, the village is announced " Triqueville" without " c" , but within " Sorting (C) queville" , one can read " Tricqueville centers - >" … with " c" thus… A debate which does not have finishes making run ink. The name " Tricqueville" would come owing to the fact that at the 16th century, the country rich person who had the area, had as a practice to make all his maidservants pregnant. Its reputation quickly made the turn of the communes and one called this " place; tricquethieres" , litéralement grounds or one with the " trique". Later, when people settled there, and that the village taken form, one chose the name " tricqueville". The origin and/or the disappearance of the " c" remain unknown to date
The principal monument remains the old barn. It dates from the 13th century and was a place of sacrifice of snails in respect to the Celtic divinities. " Hein and Ken" , the two more famous wizards of the history of triqueville (fine 15th century) had as a practice enivrer and to force young virgins to look at episodes of the series " of allas". " hein and Ken" also occupied themselves to punish the criminals. The most severe verdict was pronounced against " Khron 'N Bourg" for a crime which it had not committed. It was condemned to be obliged to look at the entirety of the episodes of the " Big' Dil" during 8 years.
