Tripsacum dactyloides , the grass grama, is a long-lived Plante tropical herbaceous of the family of the Poacée S. This species is originating in the Mexico and the Guatemala, but was widespread in many tropical countries, in particular in Asia, like Fodder plant. It can under certain conditions hybrider with the Maïs cultivated although its number of chromosomes is different (2n=36).
