Triple Alliance (1717)

The Triple Alliance is the name given to alliance signed with $the Hague in 1717, concluded between the General states from the United Provinces, Georges {{Ier}} king of Great Britain, and the regent Philippe of Orleans.
This alliance was sealed against the ambitious projects of the minister of Spain Albéroni, which wanted to return on the treated of Utrecht, of Bade and Rastatt and to return to the Spain the totality of its old possessions. France commits itself supporting the sucession in England of the voter of Hanover.
