Trincomalee

Trincomalee (in Tamoul திருகோணமலை, Thirukonamalai , hist : Sirigonakanda) is a port city located on the north-eastern coast of the Sri Lanka at 110 km of Kandy. Its old French name is Trinquemalay. The city is built on a peninsula at the entry of most important bay of the Eastern coast of the island.
