Tricorps

A tricorps or a vehicle tricorps is a vehicle of which the silhouette present a setback at the base of the Pare-brise and the base of the rear window. This type of vehicle comprises three distinct volumes:

  • the driving compartment;
  • the cockpit;
  • the trunk.
One thus uses also the expression conveys with three volumes to define this type of vehicle.

One especially finds this silhouette on the Segment m2 and Segment H1. In certain and south Eastern European countries of the Europe, one also finds tricorps Segment B.

Concerning the number of doors, one finds in this category the vehicles of the type:

  • 2 doors;
  • 4 doors.
