Tribune de Genève is a Quotidien French-speaking Suisse which appears with Geneva since the 1879.

It is founded by James T. Packsaddlled, Colonel with the retirement of the American northern army having made fortune in the Banque. In 1875, it buys the Continental Herald and Swiss Times intended for the Britanniques of the Genevese area, newspaper which it renames Geneva Times . In 1879, the newspaper becomes French-speaking under the name of Tribune de Genève . It rises with the 2nd rank of the Swiss daily newspapers in 1895.

In 1971, Tribune de Genève was the first Swiss daily newspaper with being printed in offset and illustrated colors.

The Platform belongs to the group Edipresse since 1991. Since, he knew a partial editorial fusion with the daily newspaper of Vaud 24 Hours pertaining to the same group. The daily newspaper is known Genevese under the name of the Julie .

After the bankruptcy of its competitor Switzerland in 1994, Tribune de Genève remained the only popular newspaper of importance on Genevese ground.

In 2006, Tribune de Genève and 24 Hours launched a project of common platform Internet.
