Alpha Trianguli (α Trianguli/α Tri) is a star located in the Constellation of the Triangle. Although having the letter alpha in the Designation of Bayer, it is not the most brilliant star of the constellation. It is also known under the traditional names of Metallah , Mothallah , Atria , Ras Al Muthallah , Elmuthalleth , Caput Trianguli , Metallakh and Motallakh . It shares the names of Atria and Metallah with Alpha Trianguli Australis.
