Trey Spruance

Preston Lea Spruance III, known as Trey Spruance , born in 1969 with Eureka in California, is a guitarist, musician multi-instrumentalist, type-setter and producing American. He is owner of the label Web off Mimicry.

Trey Spruance took part in the following groups: Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3, Faxed Head, Asva, The three Doctors,… It played of the guitar on albums of John Zorn, Eyvind Kang, and Faith No More.

Initially guitarist, it plays from now on of many string instruments, in particular Eastern, like the Saz.

Its compositions mèlent a great number of kinds: film music, Indian music, surfing-rock'n'roll, avant-garde, death metal, easy-listening. Its principal project as from 2000 is the group Secret Chiefs 3.
