Since October 7th, 2006, the commune of Treignat accommodates an extra-curricular school of sciences on the first floor of the village hall. She proposes every fifteen days except school vacations of the scientific activities bound for any public, in particular of the young people. July 14th, 2000, at the time of the spade screws giant which took place on meridian green the runners were found in Treignat which is in the center of this meridian.
