Treichville

Treichville is a commune of Abidjan, in Ivory Coast. It is famous to be one of the most animated districts city, in particular around the crossroads France-America . The streets do not bear a name but they are numbered from 1 to 25. In this district the station of RAN is (the train driven until Ouagadougou, with the Burkina Faso, in about thirty hours, on average).

Its name comes from Marcel Treich-Laplène (1860 - 1890), which was Résident of France in Ivory Coast. Its current Mayor, elected official with the municipal elections of March 2001 is François Amichia , old Ministre of the Tourisme.
