Treffort-Cuisiat

Treffort-Cuisiat is a common French, located in the department of the Ain and the area the Rhone-Alps.

It is chief town of a canton which belongs to the district of Borough-in-Bresse, and includes/understands 9 communes and 6  815 inhabitants.

  • the Musée of Revermont is located in the old town hall-school of Cuisiat. This museum belongs to the museums of the Countries of the Ain, and presents the culture of the Revermont, through with the kitchen garden and a conservatory orchard, and through permanent exposures:
    • That of “Communal in Revermont” which reconstitutes a classroom under Jules Ferry of the 19th century to the First World War.
    • That entitled “Vines and cavets” which brings a reflection on the reasons and the consequences of the disappearance of the vine to the profit of the dairy breeding.
