The tree of Diane is a historical Platane which is in the park of Diane to the Clayes-under-Wood in the department of the Yvelines (France).

The tree of Diane is called thus because it would have been planted towards 1556 by the favorite one of Henri II of France, Diane of Poitiers.

This tree received in July 2000 the label “remarkable tree of France” allotted by association A.R.B.R.E.S. (remarkable Trees, assessment, research, studies and safeguard).
