Trece Maffia

The Mafia Trece is a collective of French Rap resulting from the 13th district of Paris ( trece means thirteen in Spanish) and of Ivry-sur-Seine. This collective was composed of the groups Echo of the South, Moovens' and South Cide

The group is impregnated of Asian culture, which one can find in With the Research Of Mic Perdu or the Fury of the Dragon . The film Usual Suspects also had a considerable influence in several pieces ( the Law of silence , the 3 brothers or Rencontre Of the 13th Type). They were made known with " The bad chemin" , piece with texts on reality of the suburbs to the daily newspaper.

They are originating in the 4 corners of the world (Togo, Cameroun, Ivory Coast, France, Algérie, Vietnam, Romania…)

Raspy the Diam' S also collaborated in the collective ( I plead for my street and Rencontre of the 13th Type). One also could see Leeroy Kesiah Saïan Supa Crew on certain titles. One of the members of the group Yannick also had a career solo in a style of rap rather different from that of the Trece Maffia. Founders groups of the collective left the albums: Moovens' and Echo of the South left several albums since 2002 pennies the label Fifth-Flush. OGK left an album with South Cide 13 in 2000 and at the end of 2006 normally.

One allots to this group the development of a rap known as theatrical, rap conscious whose engagements are illustrated through settings in scene (references to films, lived or imagined moments).

  • Cochise (Echo of the South) alias Coach or Serge' M (Serge first name), it is Ivry-sur-Seine
  • A. Speak (Echo of the South) (Aurélien Sorin), it is Ivry-sur-Seine.
  • Awax (Moovens') (Charly first name), it is Ivry-sur-Seine.
  • Go Keypa (Moovens') alias Vas (Youri first name). It is free of the Ivory Coast (French of Ivory Coast).
  • G-Wild (Moovens') (Gil first name), it is Vitry-sur-Seine.
  • OG K (South Cide) alias Kim is of origin Cuban-Algerian and Vietnamese-French. He lived with Compton in California.
  • Yannick , is of Cameronian origin .
  • Gift OJ , alias Joe, leador of the collective.
  • Silf (raspy discovered on the 2nd album).
  • DJ Effa (DJ and producer of group DJ Effa and Don J.O are the same person)
