Trecce

The Trecce is an industrial cheese of Italian origin. It is worked in the shape of braid. It is a cousin of the Bocconcini.

It is a cheese containing pasteurized cow's milk, with spun, half-firm paste, pressed, cooked and not refined. Its fat contents capacity is of 20% with 270 calories/100 G.

It is good all the year, and has a fresh taste with a soft and light butter savor. It melts well, is stretched in long filaments for salad, and gratine with high temperature. one finds it in particular in the Neapolitan area and more exactly in the peninsula of Sorrente.
