Treaty of the origin of the novels
Appeared for the first time in 1670 under the feather of Pierre-Daniel Huet, bishop of Avranches, like prefaces with Zayde Marie-madeleine of Fayette, the Traité origin of the novels was the first a little developed history of the novel.
The Traité origin of the novels is regarded today as the first history of the literature to the modern direction of the word - although the word Littérature itself is still lacking, like also misses the limitation with the particular tradition of a nation. The history of the novel becomes a history of the fictions here. The questions of Huet are vast: How is the novel defined? How did it develop in the large world river of the traditions between the antique spaces Mediterranean and North after this last had been submerged by cruelty? Why the man imagine does fictions? Which role do they play in the culture?
