Treaty of atheology
The Traité atheology is a work written by Michel Onfray, and published in 2005 with the editions Grasset ISBN 2-246-64801-7.
The Three monotheisms, animated by the same genealogical death instinct, share a series of identical contempts: hatred of the reason and the intelligence; hatred of freedom; hatred of all the books in the name of one only; hatred of the life; hatred of sexuality, the women and the pleasure; hatred of the female one; hatred of the bodies, the desires, the impulses. Instead of all that, Judaism, Christianity and Islam defend: faith and belief, obedience and the tender, taste of died and the passion of beyond, the asexual angel and chastity, virginity and monogamic fidelity, the wife and the mother, the heart and the spirit. As much to say the crucifiée life and celebrated nothing…
The term of atheology would be taken again, according to Onfray, of a project of a series of works written and gathered by Georges Bataille under the term the atheologic Sum , finally ever completed.
