Treaty of Rio de Janeiro (1909)

The treated of Rio de Janeiro was signed between the Brésil and the Peru, on September 8th, 1909, fixing the layout of the current border of the State of the Acre.

This treaty reduced: 40000 km ² the territory of the State of the Acre, bench previously at the time of the Treated of Petrópolis, in 1903. ----
