Treaty of Polanów

the treaty of Polanów (Polyanov, Polanov, Polanowo) or eternal peace treaty is a peace treaty between the Union of Poland-Lithuania and the Russia (Russia), signed the June 14th 1634, consequence of the Guerre of Smolensk, in the village of Semlevo, located on the river Polyanovka, from where the name of the treaty, between Vyazma and Dorogobuzh.

The peace treaty confirms n the other hand the status quo handle bellum with a heavy war indemnity for Moscovie (20000 Rouble S out of gold) of the renouncement of Ladislas IV Vasa of the throne of Russia.

This treaty finishes a continuation of war ceaseless between the Union of Poland-Lithuania and its neighbors since the beginning of the XVIIe century. The 14 years of peaces which follow were the period thrives it of its history.
