The treated Bautzen ( Budziszyn in Polish), signed the January 30th 1018, devotes peace between the emperor of the Saint Empire, Henri II and the duke and later on king of Poland, Boleslas Ier of Poland.

By this treaty the Walk of Lusace and the Moravie return to Poland and the Bohemia to Henri II; this one accepts the independence of Poland and to send troops against its old ally Iaroslav of Kiev.
