Trapp Family Austrian Relief

The Trapp Family Austrian Relief Inc. is an humanitarian organization founded in 1947 by the Trapp family (made famous for American film '' the Melody of happiness '') to come to assistance of the people suffering from hunger in Austria. The seat of the organization is with Stowe (Vermont), with the the United States.

In January 1947, the American general Harry J. Hakes, which had been military governor with Salzburg of the Western part of Austria after the Second world war, returns visit to the Trapp family.
