Transmitter of Zehlendorf
The transmitting Zehlendorf is an installation of important transmission of long waves and medium waves close to Zehlendorf close to Oranienburg, Brandenburg (northern of Berlin). The most important transmitter is a transmitter long waves on 177 kilocycles with a power of 500 kilowatts.
Description
The antennas are fixed on a mast of 359.7 meters which replaced a mast run up against after a collision on May 18th 1978 with an antenna in the shape of a triangle hung on three 150 height meters masts for the medium waves.
