Code-Missions
The code-mission are in force since the passage to the summer service 2004. The first letter always indicates the destination of the train, but the principle of composition approaches that used on the Saint-Lazare networks and Is, with the difference close the missions outward journey and return do not have symmetrical code-missions, because the Northern network uses consonants for the destinations of the missions outward journey and the vowels (has as a Paris-North, E for Ermont-Eaubonne) for the missions return. To note that the Northern network is the only one not to use the letter P for Paris. The station of Paris-North takes again the letter used by the lines B and D of the RER, has, while the P indicates Persan-Beaumont.
