Transfiguration (biology)

The Transfiguration is the capacity for a living being to change appearance completely. Certain animals undergo a complete transfiguration:

  • the Fourmi S, which evolve/move gradually of egg to nymph then with ant.

  • the caterpillars of Lépidoptère, which become Chrysalide S then Imago (adult butterflies) (see metamorphosis).

Other species undergo only one limited transfiguration, and they are generally small insects capable of Mithridisation.
